Mission statement:

MakerMender aims to generate a shareable network of local resources and capacities that reflect local value and culture. In an effort to build a more resilient and capable future, this social platform will act as a community touchpoint for both information and congregation. We believe that a familiarity with simple tools and materials will inspire greater curiosity and intuition about how things work and these community gatherings will build confidence in tinkering, hacking, crafting and making.  The resources and knowledge created through this social platform may aid a community’s ability to recover from disaster and will help to illicit an intuitive preparedness for the unknown.
